1. Definitions

"Service" refers to the documentation organization, workshop facilitation, and archive assembly offerings of Cairnstead. "User" or "you" refers to any person accessing our website or engaging our services. "We", "us", or "our" refers to Cairnstead. "Agreement" refers to these Terms and Conditions.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By using our website or booking a service, you agree to this Agreement. Our services are intended for individuals who are at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into this Agreement on behalf of their household.

3. Service Description

Cairnstead provides organizational and educational support for household documentation, including the Story and Record Session, the Legacy Planning Conversation Workshop, and the Full Heritage Archive Build. Services are currently available to households in and around Chiang Mai, Thailand, and may be subject to scheduling availability.

4. Nature of Our Support

Our services are limited to documentation organization, general education, and facilitation of family conversation. We do not provide legal, financial, or medical advice of any kind. Any information shared during a session is educational in nature, and households should consult a qualified professional for formal legal or financial matters.

5. User Responsibilities

• Provide accurate contact information when booking a service
• Treat facilitators and staff with respect during sessions and workshops
• Retain responsibility for all decisions regarding your family's documents and arrangements
• Refrain from using our website for unlawful purposes

6. Intellectual Property

All templates, materials, and website content provided by Cairnstead remain our property or that of our licensors. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive license to use provided templates for your own household's organizational purposes.

7. Payment Terms

Prices for our services are listed in Thai Baht (฿) and are confirmed at the time of booking. Cancellation and rescheduling terms will be discussed directly with your household prior to a session.

8. Disclaimers

Our services are provided on an "as is" basis, based on the information and materials your household provides. We make no representation regarding outcomes beyond the organizational scope described in our service descriptions.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by Thai law, Cairnstead's liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the amount paid for the specific service in question. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages.

10. Termination

Either party may end an engagement at any time by notifying the other. Sections of this Agreement relating to intellectual property and limitation of liability will survive termination.

11. Dispute Resolution

This Agreement is governed by the laws of Thailand. Any disputes arising from these terms will first be addressed through informal discussion between the parties. If unresolved, disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Chiang Mai, Thailand.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update this Agreement periodically. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
